The Sims was first published in 2000. The game has recently been re-released by its parent company, Electronic Arts, for its 25th anniversary. This game is currently only available for PC. The game can be purchased individually for $19.99 or as a bundle with The Sims 2 for $39.99 through Electronic Arts.
The Sims is the original simulation game. The Sims is more realistic than other iterations of the game. That means you must spend a majority portion of the sims’ lifespan taking care of basic needs. It is also tedious to try to boost relationships between sims. If you are a more casual player of simulation games then I would recommend a later version of The Sims. This game requires a player who enjoys strategy games to keep your household alive. The more sims, the harder it gets.
